Safty Man

Sorry if it’s a bit small.  Normally I’m not one to take pictures of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or other weird things in general.  I just point them out to my present company.  Well I did both today.  This one was, I felt, something I had to share with the world.  If it was outside of a family toy store, or even a big chain, I’d kind of expect it and not share with the world (or the 2 of you who read this [thanks, mom and dad]) but because it’s called Smart Toys – where smart parents buy save on smart toys for their smart kids – I had to make a commotion.  I think the end of that sign should read “For Their Smart Kids! So they can make signs without spelling errors.”  Safty.  Really?

Signs?  Math?  How to incorporate…well, I’ll make a fuss if my students misspell something.  Not good enough…

Maybe delve into logic?  Sure!

I read a sign that said “There are threee things wrong with this sign.  What our they?”  I couldn’t for the life of me find them all…

About Mr. T

Well, I'm interested in math. Teaching it, learning it, describing it, living it. Creating it. Most importantly (to me) is helping others appreciate it as much as I do.
